🌍 A truly inspiring week at the IBA Annual Conference in Toronto.

Grateful for a week that brought together substantive discussions, meaningful connections, and important conversations about the future of international arbitration.

As an officer of the IBA Arbitration Committee, I was glad to take part in our sessions and see such strong engagement on the key issues shaping arbitration today.

⚖️ I also joined the meeting of the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR, where members discussed potential amendments to the ICC Rules — developments that will influence practice globally.

📘 A highlight of the week was speaking at the Mannheimer Swartling Arbitration Breakfast, where we addressed growing geopolitical pressures — including the impact of the war in Ukraine — and explored how practitioners can adapt in this shifting landscape.

🌐 Beyond panels and formal meetings, the best part of IBA is always the people. It was a pleasure to reconnect with colleagues and friends from across the world, exchange perspectives, and find new avenues for collaboration.

🤝 And before leaving Canada, I took a moment to visit Niagara Falls — a perfect reminder of power, resilience, and calm. 💧

Thank you to everyone I met for your insights, warmth, and motivation. Looking forward to continuing our conversations and working together on the challenges and opportunities ahead. ✨
